Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently purchased a home in Parksville. Prior to the purchase we had a home inspection done, which indicated only minor issues. However, we found it unbearable warm. It was suggested that we have the insulation checked. We contacted Darren Barnes, who attended and assessed the existing insulation. While in the attic, he took photographs to illustrate that the insulation was deficient and in fact, nonexistent in several areas. Darren returned in a timely manner and blew in the necessary insulation. Within a few days, we noted a significant difference in the temperature throughout the home. In our dealings with Darren, we found him very professional; he was punctual, knowledgeable, left the worksite clean, and his rates were very competitive. We cannot say enough about Darren and would highly recommend his services to all.

Saving Energy with Insulation

Keep Your Home Comfortable and Your Bills Low

Proper insulation is one of the most effective ways to reduce energy consumption in your home. By keeping heat inside during the winter and blocking unwanted heat in the summer, insulation helps maintain a consistent indoor temperature, reducing the need for heating and cooling.
